Football Players Named to All-District Teams

Four Are Named to the First Team 

BOYS RANCH, Texas – Four Boys Ranch High School football players have been named to the 2A-2 District 1 All-District football first team. Players were also named to the second team and received honorable mentions.

“The kids worked hard all season long, overcame adversity, stayed tough and gritty, and made it one of the best seasons in school history,” said Aaron Wampler, head football coach. “Thank you to our fans for your support of Roughrider football.”

First Team Players

These players were named to the first team:

Isaiah, a senior – quarterback and punter

Rowdy, a senior – linebacker

Jaay, a junior – offensive and defensive line

Deg, a junior – wide receiver

Deg was named to the first team

Rowdy was named to the first team.
Senior Rowdy was named to the first team.
Junior Jaay was named to the first team.
Junior offensive and defensive lineman Jaay was named to the first team.

Second Team Players

These players were named to the second team:

Isaiah, a senior – linebacker

Grant, a senior – offensive and defensive line

Greyson, a junior – defensive back

Grant was named to the first team.
Grant was named to the second team as an offensive and defensive lineman.

Honorable Mention

These players received honorable mentions:

Terry, a senior – offensive line

Xavier, a junior – wide receiver

The Boys Ranch Roughriders finished the year with a 5-6 record, making the playoffs for the second time in school history.

Boys Ranch High School is part of Boys Ranch Independent School District.
