2019 Boys Ranch Senior Feature: Madeline

After completing Bridge the Gap this summer, Madeline plans on moving back to Pensacola, Florida. Bridge the Gap is a program at Boys Ranch that allows our young graduates to stay in our supportive community over the summer months while they continue to learn skills for their future careers.

In her two years at Boys Ranch, Madeline says one important life lesson she has learned is how to accept others for who they are.

She especially wants to thank Romersi One house parents Joe and Nicole Murphy, and Campus Life Supervisor Melissa Banks for “never giving up” on her.

“Boys Ranch has really impacted my life,” Madeline said reflecting on her time in our care and the difference it has made in her life.

While Madeline does not have any definite plans yet, her goal is to one day continue her studies to become a special needs counselor.

We hope you’ll consider giving to help young people like Madeline learn important life skills while in our care! Thanks to our generous supporters, Boys Ranch graduates are beginning the next chapter in their lives as they further their education, start a career or go onto trade school.
