Over the past five years, Alex says Boys Ranch has taught him to be a good man. He is grateful to his many Boys Ranch mentors, Dusty Green, Boys Ranch teacher and Future Farmers of America sponsor Scotty Wright, Adventure Coordinator Kale Dabling and John Wenchl, for their part in his growth.
This summer Alex plans to travel to Yosemite National Park and Wyoming. Then, he’ll return to Amarillo, Texas, where he plans to begin a job with Aflac using his natural people skills and attend Amarillo College to get his realtors license.
The cost of attending Amarillo College this year is $3,042. As Alex embarks on the next chapter of his life, we hope you’ll consider helping him and the many other young people at Boys Ranch. With your help, Alex — and all the boys and girls in our care — are creating bright successful futures.
Alex reflects on his time in our care, sharing special moments he had and the new journey he’s about to embark on.
