2019 Boys Ranch Senior Feature: Trae

Jimmy, also known as Trae, graduates from Boys Ranch after three years in our care. He says that Boys Ranch has taught him the importance of self-discipline and anger management.

He thanks Cliff Goss, house parent at Jefferies Home, for being the father figure he needed, and Brice Satterwhite for teaching him the value of hard work.

One of Trae’s favorite memories at Boys Ranch is getting to be the “big brother” to the other young men in his home.

After returning home and working at a motor shop, Trae will report for bootcamp at the end of July, beginning a career in the United States Marine Corps.

Thanks to our generous supporters, Boys Ranch graduates are beginning the next chapter in their lives as they further their education, start a career or go onto trade school. We hope you’ll consider giving to help young people at Boys Ranch like Trae learn important life skills while in our care! Your support gives boys and girls at Boys Ranch a second chance to change their lives!
