2019 Boys Ranch Senior Feature: Brianna

While at Boys Ranch, Brianna says one of the biggest skills she’s learned in the last two years is how to communicate well with others.

She wishes to thank Mr. and Mrs. Murphy, Romersi One house parents, for encouraging her to follow her dreams, and Mr. and Mrs. Akers, Romersi Two house parents, for teaching her to never give up on herself.

Brianna urges younger residents to wholeheartedly embrace the help and opportunities they’re offered at Boys Ranch.

Over the summer, Brianna will complete Bridge the Gap at Boys Ranch. Gap. Bridge the Gap is a program that allows our young graduates to stay in our supportive community while they continue to learn skills for their future careers. In the fall Brianna starts nursing classes at Amarillo College in Amarillo, Texas. Brianna sees travel playing a big part in her future.

We hope you’ll consider helping Brianna and the many other young people at Boys Ranch with a gift today to help them pursue a college education, trade school or while they explore careers and learn skills in our care. The tuition cost for attending Amarillo College this year is $3,042. With your help today, Brianna — and all the boys and girls in our care — can create successful futures!
